Information Re: NJC Isolated Posts and Government Housing Directive
OTTAWA – ACFO is pleased to advise members that a new NJC Isolated Posts and Government Housing Directive (IPGHD) has been negotiated with the employer through the NJC IPGHD Committee. The Isolated Posts and Government Housing Committee is composed of representatives from federal public service bargaining agents, the employer and departments.
ACFO is an integral part of the NJC, a voluntary council of the employer and public service unions. The NJC in part, negotiates terms and conditions of employment not included in collective agreements such as the travel guideline, relocation guideline and the isolated posts and government housing directive.
This directive applies to all FIs in isolated posts and is effective August 1, 2007.
Further information concerning the changes to the IPGHD directive can be found at the NJC website at www.njc-cnm.gc.ca/doc.php?did=37en.
If you have any questions regarding the changes to the directive an ACFO Labour Relations Advisor would be pleased to speak with you at (613) 728-0695.
