Pension Update
As you may recall, bargaining agents appealed the 2007 Ontario Superior Court of Justice decision regarding the appropriation of $30 billion of surplus pension funds by the federal government in 1999.
The appeal has been heard by the Court of Appeal for Ontario over the past several days, from April 19 to 21, 2010. We will provide you with an update on the results of these proceedings as soon as they become available.
