Nominations now open for the 2012 Comptrollership Awards

The 2012 Award of Excellence for Comptrollership in the Public Sector is now accepting nominations.

The annual awards program celebrates the success of federal public servants who have made significant contributions to financial management/comptrollership within the Government of Canada.  This year’s categories include Innovation, Financial Leadership (CFO), and Lifetime Achievement.

The FI Community was well-represented last year, as several members of our Association were honoured for their achievements.  All FIs who know a colleague deserving of recognition, or would like to nominate their own team, are encouraged to enter a submission.

ACFO sponsors the awards program to showcase the great work and recognize the outstanding performance of Canada’s public sector financial management professionals.

Submissions are free.  All nominations must be received by Friday, February 12, 2012. The awards presentation will be held in Ottawa in spring 2012.
