Collective bargaining update: first bargaining session

Representatives from ACFO and Treasury Board bargaining teams met in Ottawa on February 6th to exchange proposals.  The full bargaining teams from ACFO and Treasury Board then met again to discuss the proposals for three days on February 21st to 23rd in Ottawa.

Negotiations were professional and productive and both ACFO and Treasury Board were able to review the proposals, ask questions and in some cases provide responses to specific proposals.

The next bargaining session dates are scheduled for May 1-3, 2012.   In the interim ACFO will be reviewing and analyzing the employer’s proposals.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please email ACFO Lead Negotiator Scott Chamberlain at schamberlain@acfo-acaf.com or ACFO Executive Vice President and Chair of the Collective Bargaining Committee Karen Hall at khall@acfo-acaf.com.
