Since the last exchange of expert reports in January of this year, the Pay Equity team has been busy working on the Agreed Statement of Facts (to be jointly submitted by both parties), preparing witnesses and preparing arguments for our pay equity case.
The pay equity hearing begins as scheduled on April 20 before the Public Service Labour Relations Board; however, due to recent notification by the Board of a conflict in the adjudicator’s schedule during the second week of the hearing, these dates have been revised. Our case will be heard starting next week with dates continuing into May.
We are confident that our data and our expert analysis is sound, we are ready to present our case and we look forward to vigorously advocating for equitable wages on behalf of our members.
