Collective Bargaining: Committee recap and next steps

The FI public service collective bargaining committee had its first meeting in Ottawa last week and preparation for our first session of bargaining is underway.

The 33-member committee reviewed the responses from the nearly 1,000 FIs who completed the FI collective bargaining survey as well as reports on comparator groups, gains by other groups in previous rounds and what other groups are asking for in this round. The committee will meet again next week to finalize our proposals and select the negotiating team plus research and job action working groups.
