- About ACFO-ACAF
Since the announcement of the CT Group, we’ve encouraged all impacted members to submit their membership cards as soon as possible. We are pleased to report that we have received more than 2,000 cards (77% of our goal) since that time.
The sooner ACFO-ACAF has cards signed by the majority of impacted employees, the sooner we should be certified as the bargaining agent for the CT Group and start negotiating better pay rates, classification standards, qualification standards and career mobility. With more than 2,000 cards submitted, we are well on our way to certification but we’re not there just yet.
We want to thank those of you who have submitted cards and encouraged your colleagues to do so as well. If you haven’t yet submitted your membership card in support of ACFO-ACAF as your bargaining agent, there’s still time. If you have, please encourage your colleagues to do the same
Hundreds of you took the time to meet with an ACFO-ACAF Labour Relations Advisor to drop off your CT Group membership card at this week’s “wake up call” sessions across the Ottawa-Gatineau area so we’ve added new locations for next week.
Join us for a coffee and drop your completed CT Group membership card at the locations below. More information on the cards including a link to print them off can be found here: https://www.acfo-acaf.com/2019/03/14/ct-group-submit-your-membership-card-today/.
If you can’t make it to one of these locations and you haven’t sent your signed card by mail (detailed instructions are available at the link above), please contact ACFO-ACAF (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we will arrange to pick it up or set up another drop-off location close to your office.
As always, if you have questions about the CT Group process, please contact Scott Chamberlain (email@example.com).
