As you may be aware, ACFO-ACAF and other bargaining agents reached an agreement with Treasury Board earlier this year regarding additional compensation for members for issues related to the Phoenix payroll system and for the late implementation of the collective agreement.
At the time of the agreement, the employer scheduled these payments to be paid out in May of this year. Unfortunately, that timeline has changed. Due to some errors in the payment system discovered upon testing the rollout, the employer has decided to send payments later this Fall, in order to ensure that there are no further issues or errors as they send out this compensation.
