As you may know, ACFO-ACAF and other bargaining agents have been at the bargaining table with TBS since May 2021 to update and improve benefits of the Public Service Health Care Plan (PSHCP). You can find our last update and list of proposals here.
Despite sustained pressure by ACFO-ACAF and others, the plan has not been meaningfully updated for the last 16 years. Therefore, large gaps need to be addressed to meet the growing health coverage needs of members.
Progress has been made to improving benefits, but issues remain to achieving a comprehensive and modern plan. Rest assured we are leaving no stones unturned in trying to reach an agreement that benefits our members. ACFO-ACAF remains committed and dedicated to reaching an agreement at the table, but we will not agree to terms and benefits that are unfavorable to the health and wellbeing of our members.
