We are pleased to announce that the new collective agreement, ratified on October 28, 2022, has been posted on the ACFO-ACAF website. You can find the new collective agreement by following this link.

As outlined in the new collective agreement, you will receive a salary increase of 11% over four years, including 7% over the first two years and a 2% one-time allowance as outlined in the tentative agreement. Below you can find a breakdown of what that increase will look like for your respective group.

CT-FIN (formerly FI)

  • Effective November 7, 2022 – increase to rates of pay: 3.5%
  • Effective November 8, 2022 – one-time 2% allowance
  • Effective November 7, 2023 – increase to rates of pay: 3.0% + 0.5% collective agreement merger allowance
  • Effective November 7, 2024 – increase to rates of pay: 2%
  • Effective November 7, 2025 – increase to rates of pay: 2%

CT-EAV (formerly AU)

  • From June 22, 2022 – increase to rates of pay 0.72%
  • Effective November 7, 2022 – increase to rates of pay: 3.5%
  • Effective November 8, 2022 – one-time 2% allowance
  • Effective November 7, 2023 – increase to rates of pay: 3.0% + 0.5% collective agreement merger allowance
  • Effective November 7, 2024 – increase to rates of pay: 2%
  • Effective November 7, 2025 – increase to rates of pay: 2%

CT-IAU (formerly AS)

  • Effective June 21, 2021 – increase to rates of pay: 1.5%
  • From June 21, 2022 – increase to rates of pay: 0.72%
  • Effective November 7, 2022 – increase to rates of pay: 3.5%
  • Effective November 8, 2022 – one-time 2% allowance
  • Conversion to modified CT-IAU wage scale, using wage scales of CT-EAV, levels 1 to 4, with an additional increase to the final increment of the CT-IAU-2 pay scale of $375, and the slotting of employees will be to the increment closest to but not less than the incumbent’s annual rate of pay at conversion. Based on the duties of the positions, the most likely slotting conversion will be as shown below, though some positions may get slotted differently based on duties:
    • AS-02 and AS-03 –> CT-IAU-01
    • AS-04 and AS-05 –> CT-IAU-02
    • AS-06 –> CT-IAU-03
    • AS-07 –> CT-IAU-04
  • Effective November 7, 2023 – increase to rates of pay: 3.0% + 0.5% collective agreement merger allowance
  • Effective November 7, 2024 – increase to rates of pay: 2%
  • Effective November 7, 2025 – increase to rates of pay: 2%
