The Office of the Comptroller General’s (OCG) Financial Management Community Development (FMCD) team is hosting a virtual CPA Support Day on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, from 9:00 – 4:00 ET, inviting finance professionals across the public service who are interested in, or currently pursuing, their CPA designation, including Financial Officer Recruitment and Development (FORD) participants. Please note this is not an event run by ACFO-ACAF.
The focus of the session is to provide information on available resources to support employees through their CPA journey, specifically on the Common Final Examination (CFE) and the CPA practical experience. We have invited CPA bodies (CPA Ontario / CPA Quebec) and colleagues within the finance community to share best practices, as well as external representatives to showcase their offerings. There will also be a networking session scheduled for participants to encourage peer support networks.
