We’re excited to announce that ACFO-ACAF Networking Nights are back for 2023 and returning in May! This year, we’ll be visiting different neighbourhoods across the NCR to accommodate members living in different areas of the region.
The first will take place Wednesday, May 3, at The Royal Oak Kanata (329 March Road) from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in English. The second will take place Wednesday, May 24, at Restaurant Bar le Bateau Marine D’Aylmer in Aylmer (1 Principale St) from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in French.
ACFO-ACAF President Dany Richard will host these lively, informal events, giving members an opportunity to interact and take part in a labour relations Q&A with an ACFO-ACAF Labour Relations Advisor centered on the return to the workplace, when to contact us, what to expect after reaching out, and other hot topics.
Complimentary appetizers will be served and each attendee will receive two free drink tickets.
These events are a great opportunity to add value to your career by hearing from experts, meeting colleagues from other departments, and building a community of professionals.
Registration
Due to high demand, for all Networking Nights we host in 2023, we will be doing a random draw among registrants. For future events this year, priority in the draw will be given to ACFO-ACAF members who have not yet attended a Networking Night event in 2023, as we want to ensure all members are given an equitable opportunity to attend. Additional net nights this year are anticipated to take place in Orleans (bilingual), Barrhaven (English), and in the downtown core (bilingual), though these plans are subject to change and dates or locations have yet to be secured.
