ACFO-ACAF EDIAR Learning Series: Practical Strategies for Adapting to Workplace Change

ACFO-ACAF is happy to announce that we’ll be hosting an EDIAR Learning Series session on June 17, featuring a workshop focused on adapting to change in the workplace.
In this session, we’ll explore the emotional impact of workplace change and share practical tools to help you manage uncertainty, adapt to new circumstances, and navigate change with greater confidence. Our goal is to provide actionable strategies that support well-being and resilience in a workplace shaped by return-to-office mandates, workforce adjustments, and other organizational changes.
The session will be facilitated by Danushka Jean-Louis, an Informal Conflict Management Practitioner and Mediator at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. Danushka is passionate about helping people turn difficult circumstances into opportunities for growth, and believes that self-compassion, self-awareness, patience and a willingness to adapt are all important factors in a person’s ability to deal with the emotions associated with change.
The workshop will be offered in both French and English on June 17, 2026. The French session will take place from 12: 00 – 1:00 pm ET, immediately followed by a session in English from 1:00 – 2:00 pm ET. Both sessions will be hosted virtually on MS Teams, and a recording of the session will be uploaded to the ACFO-ACAF member portal in the days following the event.
ACFO-ACAF members who attend this event will receive a certificate documenting one verifiable CPD hour as long as they are logged into an MS Teams account with a verifiable name and email attached to it. Certificates will be issued for a maximum of one hour of attendance per member.
