Applications for free training in the winter term are now being accepted as part of the Joint Career Development Program (JCDP)!

The JCDP is funded through the CT Collective Agreement and co-governed by ACFO-ACAF and the employer through the Office of the Comptroller General. The program offers ACFO-ACAF’s public service members with access to free training that is supported by senior leadership and tailored to meet the needs of the community.

What’s available?

The following courses are available and positions will be allocated via lottery, with highest priority going to members who haven’t received training through the JCDP before!

A wide range of classroom courses are once again on offer, with popular topics available in online and in-person delivery formats. See a complete list of dates, languages and formats at this link.

We’re also offering another French cohort of our highly-sought-after CT Academy: Management Track. This is an immersive, multi-modal learning experience for those who have just taken on supervisory responsibilities or those who expect to do so soon. Participants must be available for every session so please confirm your availability with your manager prior to applying. Learn more about the Management Track here.

How to take part

As usual, participants for these trainings will be chosen via lottery. Consult with your manager then submit your lottery application by the end of day on Sunday, November 23.
