2026 Merdon Hosking Youth Scholarship: Applications now open
ACFO-ACAF is excited to announce that the Merdon Hosking Youth Scholarship is being offered again this year!
Established in 2016, the Merdon Hosking Youth Scholarship honours ACFO-ACAF’s founder and former President, Merdon Hosking. Each year, two $2,500 scholarships are awarded to children or dependents of CT Community members who are currently enrolled in a recognized post-secondary degree or diploma program.
Applicants are required to submit:
- A personal resume;
- A letter outlining their personal contributions to society (150-200 words);
- A letter outlining the contributions they intend to make to society during their adult life (150-200 words);
- Academic records; and
- Letters of recommendation from at least two sources (not family members) who are familiar with their abilities and performance records.
Applications must be submitted by September 1, 2026, and the winners will be announced at the ACFO-ACAF Annual General Meeting in October.
