ACFO-ACAF members that are part of the public service CT Group can apply now for free training being offered this winter through the Joint Career Development Program!
Funding for this training was secured by ACFO-ACAF in the CT Collective Agreement, which means you can participate in this employer-approved training at no cost! Here’s what is being offered this winter and how you can apply.

Classroom training
All winter term courses are offered virtually, which means members from across the country can take advantage of this training. More information about each course can be found on our website.
Full day courses will run from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm ET with an hour for lunch.
Half day courses will run from 1 pm until 4:30 pm ET.

- French: January 12-13 (full days)

- Having Difficult Conversations (7 CPD hours)
- English: January 19-20 (half days)
- French: January 26 (full day)
- Upholding Workplace Ethics (7 CPD hours)
- French: January 20-21 (half days)
- Fostering Trust and Developing Influence (7 CPD hours)
- English: February 2 (full day)
- French: February 9-10 (half days)
- Communication Essentials (7 CPD hours)
- English: February 23-24 (half days)
- Introduction to Power BI (14 CPD hours)
- English: February 9-10 (full days)
- French: February 11-12 (full days)
- Mental Health First Aid (8 CPD hours)
- English: January 27 (full day)
- French: February 17 (full day)

Eligibility
All programs being offered in the winter semester this year are open to ACFO-ACAF members that are part of the CT Group.
For all programming allocated via the JCDP lottery, members are given an equal chance of being selected, with the exception that members who received free training through the JCDP in the previous calendar year are deprioritized in the lottery. This doesn’t mean they can’t be selected, it only means that members who didn’t receive training at all will get first priority.
