October 10 – The Atlantic Tune Up is back!
Aug 27, 2018

Sessions and speakers
The event will take place on Wednesday, October 10, at the Marriott Harbourfront Hotel (1919 Upper Water St) in Halifax, NS and feature an engaging half-day workshop with emotional intelligence expert Carolyn Stern. Carolyn specializes in helping professionals maximize their potential and has helped thousands of people, including nearly 300 FIs, increase their self-confidence, make decisions and solve problems under pressure. Carolyn will apply her insight into the strengths and struggles of the FI Community to help each FI enhance their emotional intelligence and apply their newfound knowledge to improve both their professional and personal lives. It will also feature an interactive presentation from Tova Sherman, inclusion advocate and CEO/co-founder of reachAbility, on the critical importance of maximizing workplace happiness. Finally, the day will include a presentation from the Office of the Comptroller General (OCG) on developing the FI competencies and a town-hall-style lunch from ACFO. Since the town hall discussion will be shorter this year, we are pleased to continue any discussions into the evening at a nearby pub, where appetizers and two free drinks per person will be provided.Agenda (subject to change)
