Over the past few weeks, several departments have informed their employees about Workforce Adjustment (WFA) measures, and additional departments are expected to follow suit in the coming weeks.

Understanding that this continues to be a stressful time for the CT Community, ACFO-ACAF has scheduled a virtual town hall to help educate our members on the WFA process. The town hall will be hosted by ACFO-ACAF Labour Relations Advisors, Nicolas Brunette-D’Souza and Ben Streatch, and will take place on Thursday, January 29, from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm ET in English and from 12:00 – 1:00 pm ET in French.

During the session they will:

  • Explain what WFA means;
  • Demystify the various WFA options for impacted employees; and
  • Outline how ACFO-ACAF can help.

Registration

ACFO-ACAF members received a link to register for the event via email on Wednesday, January 21 at 1:30 pm ET. If you did not receive the link but would like to register, please contact communications@acfo-acaf.com.

The sessions will be recorded for anyone who is unable to attend live and they will be made available on the ACFO-ACAF Member Portal in the days following the event.
