CT Community Awards

The inaugural CT Community Awards celebrate excellence within our esteemed community. These awards have been established to honour the outstanding contributions made by members of the CT Community to both our profession and the wider community. While we believe that recognition of dedication and innovation is not only well-deserved, we also hope it will inspire members of the community to reach greater heights.

Click here to apply! Applications close October 31, 2023

Each award recipient will:

  • Be celebrated at the Holiday Tune Up Gala (stay tuned for more information on this event);
  • Feature prominently in an ACFO-ACAF multimedia campaign; and
  • Meet with senior public service management to share their achievements.

To ensure that distance does not hinder participation, winners from the regions will have their travel expenses covered to collect their prize. We extend a warm invitation to members from every corner of Canada to consider applying for these prestigious awards.

There are three distinct awards, each embodying a unique facet of excellence. You’ll find more information about each award, the eligibility criteria, and how to apply below. For any questions, please contact awards-prix@acfo-acaf.com.

Judging criteria

The evaluation of applications and selection of winners are done by an independent committee. To make the process fairer and more unbiased, all personal identification is removed from the applications before they are sent to the evaluation committee.

The committee members will examine the applications in detail assigning a score from 1 to 5 on each of the following assessment criteria for a total score out of 25:

Description of candidate’s achievements

  • Clear description of business problem / opportunity tackled
  • Creativity, uniqueness, and replicability of the solution
  • Measurable impact of outcome(s)

Letters of support

  • Letter 1 attesting to achievements of the candidate
  • Letter 2 attesting to achievements of the candidate

Appeals for reconsideration can be entertained only on the ground that due process, in an administrative case, was not followed.
