FI-03 / FI-04 RECRUITMENT PILOT PROJECT
You will find attached a document sent to all Senior Full-Time Financial Officers providing an update on the FI-03 / FI-04 Recruitment Pilot Project being undertaken by the Financial Management Community Division.
Members are encouraged to review the details of this project which is open internally to all who qualify. The Association has made its position clear that departments should give priority consideration to FIs currently in the Public Service prior to utilizing the pool of external candidates. In the Association’s view it makes perfect sense for career development opportunities to be offered first to qualified FIs who already have Public Service experience.
