Standing up for Public Servants
ACFO president Milt Isaacs is quoted in the cover story of the current issue of Ottawa Life magazine, titled Standing up for Public Servants.
The article takes a hard look at the misperceptions among the general public and in the media with regards to working for the federal public service.
Gaining insightful perspective from the presidents of ACFO, PIPSC, and CAPE – who collectively represent over 75,000 public service professionals including 4,400 FIs – 
the article examines the recruitment and retention challenges the government is facing as an employer, and how the unions are fighting to combat the myths surrounding public service employment and improve working conditions for their members.
