The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives released its 2018 Alternative Federal Budget (AFB) today in Ottawa. ACFO is part of the AFB steering committee and is pleased to see that several of our recommendations were included in the final report.
Specifically, ACFO’s calls for smarter financial reporting; greater transparency and accountability for third-party contractors; and improved protections for whistleblowers were key components of the AFB’s public services chapter.
