Building on the success of the ACFO-ACAF Spring Tune Up, the Regional Tune Up conference series was launched in 2017 to bring in-person development days to our members outside of the NCR. Funded by the Joint Career Development Program (JCDP), these in-person development days (5.5 CPD hours) are free to attend for the CT Community.

This year’s series will be making five stops across the country:

• Atlantic Regional Tune Up – August 31, 2023, in Moncton, NB 
• Ontario Regional Tune Up – September 7, 2023, in Toronto, ON 
• Prairie Regional Tune Up – October 5, 2023, in Winnipeg, MB 
• Pacific Regional Tune Up – October 11, 2023, in Vancouver, BC 
• Quebec Regional Tune Up – November 9, 2023, in Montreal, QC 

Hotel accommodations

These conferences will not be livestreamed, so to ensure as many attendees from each region can attend as possible, hotel accommodations for one night may be reimbursed for ACFO-ACAF members travelling to an event in their region (excluding the NCR) more than 100 km driving distance from their home or work location.

Costs related to travel, food, time, etc. will not be reimbursed, so we encourage you to ask your employer to cover these costs. Preapproval will also be required for ACFO-ACAF to reimburse hotel accommodations. Stay tuned for more information on this!

Registration will open in the coming weeks but save the date for your calendar!

Complete agendas for each event will be shared by email with members in each region shortly. Please ensure your membership information is up to date, including your home address, as this information will be emailed to members in each specific region only. 

These events are open to all ACFO-ACAF members regardless of classification.

If you’re looking forward to the Regional Tune Ups, you can register today for ACFO-ACAF’s CT Symposium (11 CPD hours) on October 26 and 27, 2023, at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa and online. The conference will feature The Honourable Maryam Monsef, Corneille, star of La Voix, and more, helping equip the CT Community for the new realities of a hybrid workplace and an evolving world.

Discounted pricing is available, including virtual attendance for less than $500 for ACFO-ACAF members, but only until August 31.
