ACFO-ACAF EDI Learning Series: Introduction to Inclusive Writing 

ACFO-ACAF has scheduled the next session of our ongoing EDI Learning Series. This series of webinars provides ACFO-ACAF members with an opportunity to come together over the lunch hour and discuss topics related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

This session will focus on inclusive writing, where the facilitators will be sharing different inclusive writing techniques  to bring awareness to biases in writing and ensure that all your audiences, whether colleagues or clients, feel part of the conversation. It will cover topics such as pronouns, gender, new vocabulary, and more.

The session in English will be taking place on Wednesday, November 22, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm ET and the French will be taking place on Wednesday, December 13, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm ET.

The sessions can be attended either:

• Virtually on MS Teams 
• Via in-person viewing session for DND members at the Carling Campus (Room 5T.2.J11.03). A complimentary lunch will be provided but spaces are limited.
