As you may know, ACFO-ACAF and TBS reached a memorandum of agreement (MOA) in May 2023 to amend the CT collective agreement signed in December 2022. The MOA came into effect on June 22, 2023.
We are happy to share with the CT Community that the new pay rates under the MOA were updated in Phoenix on July 15 and the new rates were reflected on the August 2, 2023, pay stubs for CT-FINs (formerly FI) and CT-EAV (formerly AU) employees. In addition, the CT-FIN and CT-EAV retro adjustment covering the period from November 7, 2022, to January 18, 2023, should appear on the August 30, 2023, paycheque.
Given the manual work required for the CT-IAU (formerly AS) population, the new rates should be reflected after the conversion process is complete for these employees.
In addition, the updated deadline for the one-time lump sum $2,500 payment is December 19, 2023 (180 days from the effective date of the MOA).
Due to high volumes of casework, we ask that you refrain from contacting ACFO-ACAF Labour Relations until after a reasonable period following the implementation deadlines should your rates of pay be adjusted incorrectly or not at all.
