Reminder: Registration open for fall professional development courses

Earlier this year, ACFO-ACAF launched the Comptrollership Training Centre (CTC), a training and development institute exclusively focused on delivering programs aimed at financial professionals. In addition to the programming available through the Joint Career Development Program, the CTC also offers classroom training courses on a cost-recovery basis.

The following courses are being offered in Ottawa starting in August and through the fall:

• Leading With Emotional Intelligence
  November 6 – English
• Political Skills: Increase the Impact of Your Influence
  August 14 – English
  August 15 – French
• Authentic Leadership
  October 28-29 – Bilingual
• Effective Communication for Financial Professionals
  September 19 – English

These courses are open to general registration but there is a steep discount for ACFO-ACAF members. ACFO-ACAF is recognized as a training provider by the Office of the Comptroller General and the courses offered through the CTC were developed in response to feedback from managers and executives about the skills and competencies most in demand for our community.
